At Brilliant Start Academy, we don’t differentiate between preschool and child care. We nurture total child development by immersing our students in a collective learning environment where they can explore, play, and develop the skills they need for their academic journeys and a lifetime of success.

Curriculum

Brilliant Start Academy places a high value on education and strongly believes that having a well-planned curriculum provides better learning opportunities for our children while providing an enriching and fulfilling environment.

We base our lesson plans on the Creative Curriculum®, which is a research based curriculum aligned to Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards.

Creative Curriculum®

Helping preschoolers develop their math and literacy skills is essential to preparing them for kindergarten. In addition to these areas of development, the Creative Curriculum® emphasizes the development of a child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive skills, which nurture and better prepare the child for a lifetime of meaningful learning.

The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive and research-based curriculum developed by early childhood education experts. We adapt the program to meet and exceed state criteria for early childhood education, as well as adapt the theories and practices to your child’s unique learning requirements and strengths.
